Hi everyone!! My name is Kaitlyn Thompson and I am a student at Appalachian State University. I graduated in May with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and now I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Reading Education. I have always loved to read and my passion for reading has continued to grow throughout my life. Reading is something that is very important and needed for everyone and can take you to a whole new world. One of my main goals in life is to help others find their passion for reading and to see all of the benefits that come along with it.

- I got married on June first and my last name changed from Thomas to Thompson
- I am from New Bern, NC
- I love cats
- I can say the alphabet backwards
